when you receive Alt D mode, are you trying to open a application, if that error occurs
Thanks for the question. No, it's when the monitor is plugged in and upon powering up. It occurs every time. Basically as per this youtube video but my monitor still doesn't work even after loading the latest drivers and restarting the PC. https://youtu.be/pQZzJ0uet4U
Hello David,
Which model of laptop are you connecting to?
The error message is indicating to your laptop, not MB16AC.
Thank you.
Laptop is Lenovo X1 Yoga 1st Gen (Type 20FQ, 20FR) Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20FQ. Win 10/64-bit, current updates.
Sorry this forum only belongs to asus product users, not for Lenovo products..
So you should ask questions in Lenovo forum.
Ok, thanks - I had to start somewhere as the monitor is an ASUS product that used to work on this laptop and appeared to stop working after ASUS driver update.
Then uninstall asus driver update through Device manager.
Hello David,
Which ASUS driver update do you mean?
The ASUS MB Series USB Monitor Driver for Windows OS driver version10.0 on below website?
Have you tried to update your laptop display and USB driver as well?
Or if possible, if there is another laptop you can connect and cross check?
Thank you.
