Type c to 3.5 mm convertor issue.....

Hello Asus Team, is there any way to get ctype to 3.5mm converter work on asus rog 2.. I know I have the audio port there but sometimes it's hard to play game with the headphone port coming on my finger.... So if I use the converter then probably I can use the convertor on the bottom type c connector on my phone... Pls help

The short answer is that it works. However, it's somewhat of a guessing game when it comes to USB-C to 3.5 mm adapters (if they'll work or not). My best advice would be to visit a store and ask to test with your ROG II before you make a purchase.
Buy a sound card such as
Kotion Each S2 USB 7.1 Surround... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B077BXXXQX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I personally use this one but to use this you will need a usb C to usb connector.
AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01GGKYXVE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I use both but you can purchase a cheaper sound card for it to work. I tried usb c to 3.5 connector and none of them works so you need a sound card for it to work.
Instead of fiddling with sound card, as rulyrexhodam already has 3.5 mm headphones I would propose he gets the air cooler. Thus he can use his headphones plugged in the cooler and in the same time benefit from the best, and in my opinion essential, accessory the phone has.
Yet spend another 50-70 dollars on a fan to use that 3.5mm. Great thought mr richy rich.
I got it in the box. And I am not that rich. Besides it's a very good accessory which is definitely paying back on a long term. It's not just the 3.5 mm jack.
Worthless to buy 500gb or 1tb version. Users that bought those variants are now facing issues with display and stuff while me just chilling with my 8gb ram rog 2. Also the fan is very much useless unless you are just collecting rog 2 accessory otherwise its a waste of battery.
I do have the 512GB version and face no problem with the display what so ever.
Really?? What version are you on?? Just update to latest android 10 and use it regularly and let me know. All people i know that have 500 gb and 1tb variants are facing issues. Some of them are bricked and cannot be turned off. I feel sorry for those people. Some of the people cannot even charge the phone or turn on the display. These issues are on latest android and mostly are faced by 500gb and 1tb variant users.
I am running the last version of Android 10.
If their phone can't be opened, tell them to hold the volume down and the power button for at least 30 seconds, should do a hard-reboot. I also broke my charging cable and still able to charge it somehow (have to buy a new one thought). If two issues comes to my mind, it would have to do with the "can't turn on" and some random reboot (it happenes to me maybe once a month)
Random reboot happened to me way back when i used to be on call while having my bluetooth plugged in. Now its fine ( dont use bluetooth anymore that much)
