Very low wifi speed

Model name: Asus Zenfone max pro M2

Android version:9(No updates available till now), not rooted. frequency of occurance:most of the time

I am using Airtel xtream broadband connection with 40mbps in other mobiles of other companies I get around 40 Mbps but in this phone I get only around 3-9mbps(no other phones connected to wifi)  No software updates are available in settings. What should I do?

Have you tried connecting your mobile phone to other routers to test the Internet speed? 
If the situation is the same, maybe you can consider reset the phone system.

Please try the following steps to access recovery mode for the Factory Reset:
0. Try to back up your data with USB cable. If you can not access the phone, please check if your google account or microSD card have auto backup your data. 
1. Power off the phone, then keep pressing "volume down key"
2. Press "power key" and stop press " power key" once you feel the vibration. Still keep pressing "volume down key"
3. Stop press "volume down key" once you enter [Android Recovery] Screen
4. Choose "Wipe data/factory reset">"Factory data reset"
5. "Reboot system now"

I have tried everything but it is same as before and in other devices I get good speed so no problem with wifi.

If you have tried to restore the system but the condition persists, it is recommended to send it for repair to check whether it is caused by antenna failure.

Same problem with my device. I am using 100mbps wifi connection but I get only 30-40 Mbps speed.No problem with wifi i checked in my laptop,in my laptop I got 120mbps speed
