Increased heat and battery drain under android 15

Updated my Zenphone 10 to android 15 and noticed that gaming apps, Arknights in particular, started heating up more and drained significantly more battery than under 14. Unfortunately i don't have any hard numbers and analysis, but the difference is big enough to notice without statistics.

performance is the same, 60fps, usually 864mhz clock speed (according to gamegenie overlay), but now the game heats up to 37-38 degrees and more importantly drains battery way faster than before. the phone isn't using full power and hits the fps cap easily, but now it drains battery as if it is going full throttle. would love this to get looked into.

Yeah. Definitely noticing significant change to battery life.

Update after a week: Problems are still persisting. Battery drain has slowed somewhat, but my main issue is the increase in heat. The phone gets noticeably warmer in my hands and game genie reports temperatures up to 38-39°C in games that previously didnt even feel warm to the touch - or only started to warm up after prolonged use. Now it's instant, even when only clocked at ~800 mhz.

i'm frankly concerned for my device's health, especially since i lost my previous zenfone 8 to heat damage too. eagerly waiting for a patch to adress this. it's not just one app or even just games - even youtube playback starts getting up close to the mid 30s degreees. this is not normal behavior or anything i have ever seen under android 14.
