Android Auto crashes phone after updating to Android 15

Hi all, 

Since I received the official Android 15 update some days ago, I can't no longer use Android Auto. 

It usually starts, but it crashes in >90% when clicking whatever (menu, mic button, Spotify...) on the cars screen.

Not only Android Auto on the car crashes but also the phone's UI itself. I am getting a black screen on the phone, followed by the Zenfone startup animation in the same time, that Android Auto crashes. 

I tried unlinking the car, clearing Android Auto cache and data, uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto. Nothing helped so far. All Access rights are allowed.

Do you have similar issues? 

Zenfone EU, 512 GB, 16 GB Ram, 35.0604.0404.65

Yep. Having the exact same issue.

I got it fixed. Might you try to deactivate the setting "force desktop mode" within the Android 15 developer mode options (it's one of the latest option if you scroll down). I made some more changes, but I think that was the one that fixed the issue for me ...
