Hello Zenfone 9 group,
Im from Australia and have been using Zenfone 9 since 2023, and i do have very critical issues with this Phone, particularly on its touch sensitivity and auto brightness. The touch sensitivity is way WAY to strong and most of the time unexplainable, illogical and dangerous! Cases (plural) in point is when i lock the phone using the right button and insert it in my pocket it somehow does auto dial or camera or anything that would pop up like police calls or address book contacts, etc. I've even had the wifi password changed without me doing it!
Another is the auto brightness.. I almost always have this phone go dark to the point i cannot see anything. Been adjusting it to either auto brightness on/off but still the same issue. Sometimes even if i drive and have this phone on the dashboard with google map on it goes dark! So i pull over and stop the car just to put the phone in front of my eyes to locate the brightness slider to get the brightness back up. Yesterday me and my fam were walking around the festival and it went dark on me again! So annoying!
Hope Asus takes this seriously as it is downright annoying and dangerous! A little help would be great as these phones, when i got them, is not cheap by any means. Cheers.
