Update failed

In Zenfone max pro M2 from past 5-6
update get failed. Software update is available pops up in notification bar. But every time it downloads and failed
After done all the things it shows up with popup and says your device is reverted to It's original configuration

If you are not getting the notification then you can update your device by doing the following steps.
1. Move the downloaded file to a sd card(not inside any folder)
2. Shut down your device and go into recovery (hold power button + volume down button until the asus logo comes up)
3. Select apply update from external storage(volume buttons for navigating)
4. Select the update file
5. After the update finishes select reboot
