Abishek StephenYou can't downgrade versions directly in the way you tried.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/78307#Comment_78307
I tied to downgrade but it is not possible it seems. It says cannot install firmware as newer version has been already installed.

Abishek StephenHey you don't have anything against them to take them to a consumer court... They say before the update that If you are familiar and like using A9 please don't update and stay on A9. It's a very subtle but a nice statement by a company for saving their assets...Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
- Model Name: Asus zenfone max pro m1
- Firmware Version: PKQ1.WW_Phone-16.2017.2004.063 20200407
- Rooted or not: No
- Frequency of Occurrence: after the recent update
- APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): no
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

The phone was working without any issues till the update. Now it heats up very much and battery drains a lot quicker than usual. Kindly explain why this is Asus, else you'll see me in consumer court.
