Hi at all, i want to report a boring bug about the stock FM Radio App. Since the last 2 updates, every time i'm using it and i receive a notification, for exampe like a new Whatsapp message, the fm radio stop the playback, the notification sound is played, and then restart the play of radio station, but on another random frequency, probably the first of the range (87.5 Mhz). This bug happens every time at every notification received. You can replicate it as follow:

- Open FM Radio and choose a frequency (i use 98.7 that is a national italian radio that transmit on this frequency where i live)
- Send a whatsapp message to the number in the phone
- Wait until the phone receive the message and the fm radio stop the play to allow to system to reproduce the notification sound
- When the FM radio restart the playback, it still report the choosed frequency, but is another, i suppose the first of scale (87.5)

Hi valerio.cms,
Could you try resetting the FM radio to default settings and check if the problem still appears?
(FM radio > Settings > Revert to Factory Defaults)
Please tell me your FM radio version and WhatsApp version.
If the problem still appears, does it appear every time when there is a WhatsApp message?
Does it happen with every channel on FM radio?
Could you show me a short video of the problem? This could help us look into the problem greatly.
To share videos, please upload it to ASUS WebStorage (https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/) and share the link with us.
Thank you 🙂

Hi Jey,
the problem still occurs after revert to factory default in fm radio app.
The app is the built in in the asus rom. On application list the version is 4.0. Whatsapp is the latest available, 2.19.69.
The problem occurs also with another channel, 102.5Mhz.
Today i found that, indeed, is not the FM Radio visible that manage the "streaming" and the radio data, but the system app service com.caf.fmradio.service. So now i tried to kill it and clear data and cache of this app. After that the radio restarted completely reset.
Now i still haven't tried to replicate the problem. I will keep you updated if the reset of the service app com.caf.fmrdio.service has solved the problem.
For the video, if is not solved with the radio service app reset, i hope i can do it the next weekend.
Bye.
PS: i'm still waiting for an answer in private for the network connection problems ;)
Edit: i forgot, yes the problem occurs everytime i receive a new whatsapp notification.
