Fireware version: 33.0804.2060.165 on the Zenfone 9 / UK.
This has become an absolute joke with the Zenfone 9. Why has Asus not fixed this downgrade to L3 Widevine issue? There have been several posts about this now with no real support or answers from Asus.
The last response hinted at some 'unlock service' that they were working when discussing this issue. I have no idea how the two are related but there's been zero updates on that.
A £700 device that cant play HD content is ridiculous. When will you fix this problem?
