UNLOCKING IN POCKET

I know this has been posted about before but I'm so frustrated because I've tried everything and this phone is still unlocking in my pocket and causing chaos! Sending private pictures to my family group chat is not ideal. I've enabled the button press feature and half the time it works, half the time it still unlocks with only the fingerprint.. either way it still unlocks in the pocket. I could disable fingerprint altogether but it's one of the reasons I bought this phone. My firmware is up to date, can Asus please sort this out before this phone causes me any more embarrassment and frustration.

Can you guys clarify the following:

• Have you enabled Always on Display? (Settings > Display > Always on)
• Have you enabled New Notification? (Settings > Display > New notification)

If you haven't enabled either of the above options, please share a log file.

Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).

1. Open “Calculator APP”

2. Enter “.19595+=”

3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.

4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.

5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".

6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.

Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

The problem happens so long ago... It's disappointing that they still can't deliver us a decent Firmware

Me too. It is great phone, small, handy, good specification but support is terrible, terrible... Nothing what I reported (and reported like 3 or 4 issues) has been fixed.

even once @Mattias_ASUS He was helping me several months ago to improve the stock camera by sending the reports to the R&D team, But nothing ever happened. It seems that the famous R&D Team ignores the moderators, or is good for nothing.

It is the worst after sales service I have ever had on a phone.

what is the purpose? I am writing about it for months, many other users as well. Nothing will change.

I have those options ON but why should I not? If pocket mode is enabled it should prevent for unlocking. AOD does not mean that phone is UNLOCKED and I can accidenaly call or write message. The same with notification. Should I turn off notifications or AOD because pocket mode is not working? Come on...
