unable to play amazon prime video on Android 13

Amazon Prime video requires to disable hardware acceleration to reproduce video, also  HBO Max has video decoding issues, the audio works but it has extremely glitchy video.

I'm having all the issues you listed above

Prime Video needs hardware acceleration turned off, HBO Max has video decoding issues (full image artifact), and Netflix says i have Widevine L3 even tho the app DRM Info says i have L1. Just awful for a flagship smartphone...

Well, it's good to see that i'm not alone having those issues, but it is really problematic. I can get video working, but need to download the episodes manually. Streaming is a no go.

Same issue here. Can't play prime with hardware acceleration enabled, HBO max is one big artifact after few seconds and only works when video is downloaded. Everything else seems to work fine, Netflix, skyshowtime, YouTube.

Any solutions yet? It's annoying for a flagship phone tbh

Any update on this issue?

I just tried the updated Max app, now even downloading a video doesn't work, and produces glitchy video!
