zenfone 8 , wifi hotspot not working,...disappointed asus

i am using asus zenfone 8 and just after 2 years, one day wifi hotspot not working, what a disappointing device this turns to be, and no bootloader options, my 10 years relationship with asus zenfone starting from zenfone 2 ................ asus is disappointing now.... Hope asus will respond, please apart from usual replies like " please try reset / turn on and off wifi"  etc. plaese help me solve this ...

Requesting asus to reply, and help me resolve, or help me with a downgrade to 12 or something, or help with bootloader, please !!!!

FYI, i did the factory reset which made me lossall data, and still, no use...

It's terrible that you went through this to send in for repair and then got told there were watermarks. The issue lies in the Android 13 update, which I found out from BETA had terrible bugs. We have been discussing the issue for over a year in other threads.

Unfortunately, I now have the issue again, even though I had disabled auto-updates and stayed on Android 12 to keep my hotspot. I thought I would check to see if there were any new updates on the topic, but I also need to remember the disable-enable script that I need to run to fix the issue.

I have been with Asus for as long as I can remember, too, since Asus Padfone, so I hope the help is there for us.

yes, the first response from a representative was like signs they saw watermarks, but i had a clear picture about my equipment, then , it was proved there are no watermarks and then they quoted me bill of around 557 euros , saying the battery has been changed, but it had no relation with the working of wifi, and yes finally it is a board failure ( which asus claimed ) and i am waiting for my equipment after repair. I will update, i am sure its firmware because if the module was damaged, the bluetooth should not work as well, but in my case it was just the wifi and hotspot !!

My worry is if i continue use asus software, will this happen again or no !!
in that case i was thinking if they are willing to let us use the bootloader !!
