CH_ASUSThnx for the tipp, much better, no accidental calls, a bit annoying but still better then random calls.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/49743/fingerprint-sensor-activates-in-pocket
Hi
1- You can try to enable the ASUS Pocket mode, for pocket detection. We are also making improvements to that function.
2- the feature you are requesting actually already exist! You can go to Settings -> Security & lock screen -> Fingerprint
Then find the "Unlock device" (first row), click the text (not the toggle, keep it on) .
That allows you to customize its behavior - for example you can turn off the "Screen off unlock" meaning Fingerprint reader wont read unless the screen is turned on.

Anders_ASUSPhones get taken out of pockets ussually. And users usually (or am I the crazy one?) want to unlock it after that, preferably directly with the fingerprint. If it's placed on a table it's even more difficult to push the power button. Or should we disable pocket mode every time it's not in one?I'd also like to add that we're already looking into the possibility of blocking the fingerprint feature with our pocket mode

poke.ike3I think what @Anders_ASUS meant is that when phone detects that it is in the pocket (if you have the pocket mode enabled) it will disable the fingerprint scanner. It doesn't mean that the fingerprint scanner will be disabled if you turn on the pocket mode in the settings.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/173379#Comment_173379

Maybe a better idea is to fix that proximity sensor to not trigger for no reason instead of disabling other functions?
