Charging led always enabled when USB is inserted

Rooted or not: no
Frequency of Occurrence: each time
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Led indicator
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

Older thread was closed. I wrote to Gustav_ASUS in PM but the problem is still present. Logs and video provided

I disable the option and as soon as I connect the charging cable the option re enables itself and I have to manually turn it off
There is no way to permanently disable Led indicator when charging.

I check it for you on my zenfone. This option works fine. Normally I have the led on while charging. I turned off this option and the led is off. I have tried several times and everything is as per settings.

Charging LED does not work? Reset the phone, reinstall the bootloader, resolder the SoC, there is absolutely no other option.
