Proximity sensor not working

After updating my phone to Android 10 the proximity sensor isn't working. I even tested in smmi test but nothing happened .it worked fine in pie.

If nothing works, then you have to reset your device. Sorry to say. If the issue persists after a reset. Then you need to send it for repair.

yeah i was in the same situation with you, i thought i got defective device, then i took off the tempered glass then the proximity works well
