Portrait mode keeps freezing in ZF6 stock camera app

Firmware Version: 17.1810.2009.176
Rooted or not: no
Frequency of Occurrence: first time
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Camera app
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

So, the portrait mode was working fine in my ZF6 a couple of days ago, but today when i switched from the normal camera mode(which was working fine) to the portrait mode, the photo is frozen but the other features in the app work fine, like when i switched to another video/photo mode it worked fine. I restarted the phone and cleared storage and cache for the phone app, and when I opened the app again, the same problem persisted. After restarting and clearing cache multiple times, nothing seems to have worked. Check your third party camera apps those may be triggering your system camera app or else try to reset all app permissions from settings app & notifications>all apps>upper three dots>reset permissions and check if your camera apps potrait mode works now ifnot

Check with safe mode how does potrait mode from camera app behaves there

To entre safe mode >press power button for few sec>tap and hold switch off option >you will see dailogue box saying entre safe mode click ok or yes there> than check potrait mode from camera app if it behaves same there

If issue remains and cannot fix i would suggest you to wait for next FOTA

Or if its so early than you can factory data reset your device by taking backup of your imp data

To factory data reset

Settings>system>reset options>reset all data

M sure factory reset will surely fix your problem

Tried everything, didnt work. Guess I've got no choice but to wait for an update, and maybe that fixes this.
