Google Assistant gesture in Zenfone 6

I have enabled gesture navigation in my 6Z. The swipe up and hold gesture for Google Assistant works fine but the hold duration seems a bit long. Ideally it should be less than or equal to half a second of hold after swiping up but in reality the zenfone takes around 1 second or slightly more. Can we have the hold time reduced a bit?

I understand that you feel it's a tad too long but the gestures will change in Android Q anyway so we will not change this. Thanks for you feedback though.
