Apps get automatically deleted from multitasking

I like to have control over my phone, and I like to go back to the apps I was using before I went to bed from my multitasking menu, so I know exactly what I was doing and can continue exactly where I left. And this is simply not possible when my phone automatically closes the apps overnight. I bought the 8GB RAM version of this phone because I like to use multitasking a lot, and this is very annoying. Imagine if your PC was doing this, it would be unacceptable.
I get that this is some kind of power saving feature, but is there a way to disable this? Thanks

VS-KRNice try, but it doesn't help at all.Try to disable this :
Mobile Manager > PowerMaster > ••• 3 dots menu > Clean up in susped
And allow your apps to start automatically (or at least, disable the auto start manager)

This behaviour - automatic killing all apps but 3 over night - is by Google design as it was previously answered by Asus to us:

But what I can't understand when Asus improves here and there many things, why doesn't they improve this fundamental deficiency? Because it's really useless to have a lot of memory when it's useless for multitasking.

_jis_Well that sucks. Why have 8GB of RAM in a phone when it automatically closes apps after a couple hours of inactivity? Thanks for sending me the thread with the answer.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/72102#Comment_72102

My old Xiaomi phone with MIUI had a feature that could lock any app into RAM, and it would stay opened in RAM as long as I wanted it to. I would really like to have this feature in my Zenfone 6, unfortunately it's not there so users can't really manage what apps stays in RAM at all, which sucks really bad, because as I pointed out above, I paid extra money to have the 8GB RAM version for better multitasking, so I am very disappointed by this. I get now that this is Google's fault and not Asus's, but maybe Asus could address this in an update? An option to turn this off or option to lock apps in RAM would be really nice.

baster1982It doesn't help. You can check it for yourself, the test is very easy:I think if you tick in battery/auto strat manager the apps you want to stay open in ram it helps.
