About crashing issues

This thread is to highlight the crashing issue that has plagued Zenfone 6 since the 167 FOTA update. Please, whoever is having this issue, leave a comment stating the same under this thread so the mods stop shunning this issue away as a hardware problem. Let them know that people are having this issue. 

The reason behind this being stated as a hardware problem is probably to extort people of their one and only free hardware repair covered under warranty. Please don't let this happen. The phone as I count has crashed 47 times today itself. How much do you expect me to bear? Your phone has a shitty resale value so I can't easily sell this and buy the good old OnePlus (An option which I am really starting to consider seriously let me tell you)

Instead of deleting this thread as the same post exists in other threads. I just want to make it clear to who ever that might read this. There is no such thing as "their one and only free hardware repair" this is a misunderstanding from flipkart who only offers one free repair of a broken display or water damage with the Flipkart Complete Mobile Protection. This has nothing to do with ASUS warranty which makes sure the phone will work during the entire warranty life regardless of how many times it needs to be sent in for repair. Hopefully never but there is no limit. 
If you read this thread because your phone restarts several times per day or doesn't start. Please contact your ASUS Service Center.

I have purchased Asus 6z on July 17 th..I had done factory reset 3 times and booted to safe mode multiple times due to crashing issues....I thought of visiting service centre and finally went......He gave me with earlier update and I again updated to August software..... Now the problem stil persists....I have been Asus fan since couple of years.... Please don't make me regret.....

Please visit them again. We have made sure that all service centers have clear instructions on how to deal with phones that constantly crash.
