Why Asus 5z battery doesn't drain completely?

Even when phone gets itself switched off due to low battery it shows 'low battery ' screen when power button is pressed. How's that possible?
Model Name : ZS621KL-2H014IN ( India)
Android version: 10
Ram : 8gb, ROM : 128 gb

Hi there, it's not much of an issue here, sometimes smartphones do preserve some battery to display indicators like low battery sign and also alarm. If the phone is not charged for more than few days even then it is highly possible it might still show low battery. Also, many phones just go dead and might not show any signs.
