Why Asus 5z battery doesn't drain completely?

Even when phone gets itself switched off due to low battery it shows 'low battery ' screen when power button is pressed. How's that possible? Model Name : ZS621KL-2H014IN ( India)Android version: 10Ram : 8gb, ROM : 128 gb
