I can't say the price but yes you can replace your fingerprint scanner. It is better to visit your nearest Asus service center they will replace your fingerprint scanner if they find any issues.

Yes it is replacable kindly visit your nearest service centre for device examination n fixes and most probably dont forget to take backup of your important data before you submit your device to service centre
i guess it is 1500rs and if connection is loose mostly that will be fix just by taking service charge 300 rs but still prices are totally dependent on service centre to decide so final price will only be confirmed from service centre itself when you visit

The flex cable is broken..... I heard 3 years back that you cannot replace a fingerprint scanmer as every scanner has a unique binding with its motherboard so the only solution to replace, was to replace the complete mother board with which you'll get your new fingerprint scanner. This i not the case with 5z am i right??
