i have a zenfone 11 device and when listening to music with wired headphones it will randomly disconnect and ill have to re-plug the jack to work again, ive tried adjusting my settings over but no luck. im up to date on the device but cant figure out why it just suddenly disconnects randomly.
ive now updated from android 14 to 15 and this is still a re-occurring issue . when you start and skip to a new track it does a slight pause before playing the song along with still disconnecting your headphone randomly.

Hello @cooldude17
I have a couple of questions.
Does this happen with different headphones? Which headphones are you using? And is this only an issue with the headphone jack? Or with the USB-C port using a dongle too?
I would like to share this with the devs, is there a possibility that you could create a log so that they can look into what might be causing the issue?
When doing the log please recreate the issue and when you are done please send me a DM with the link so I can forward it to the team.

Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).
1. Open “Calculator APP”
2. Enter “.19595+=”
3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.
4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.
5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".
6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.
Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

hi, just to add on, this problem seems to happen ALOT when you have other apps open. doesnt matter what type of app, includes socials, gaming apps and other google play apps. I had a lot of crashes with having tiktok and gmail open while listening to music. I have yet to get a log but this is something you can feedback to the devs!

hi,
so just to confirm, this is an issue affecting any 'wired' headset'while plugging this into the headphone jack only. im unsure how this affects the usb c or wireless but this heavily impacts wired. ive tried it with my headphones which are:
i can safely assume this happens with any wired headset as this has been brought up in the past via reddit.
with the new zenfone 11 update of android 15.when you play a song there is a slight pause before the actual song plays which it didnt do via android 14.
so the main issues is the random disconnect which makes the headphone icon disappear implying the headphone has disconnected, and the slight pause at the start of the song.
im unsure if ill be able to get a log of it since its very random but I will try your approach and get back to you if i can get a log of it.
kind regards
