Dark mode bug

Hi, i gave my mom a Zenfone 10, and it's great, almost everything is top notch, the camera is incredible, the best I've seen on an Android! But there's one thing that's been irritating me, dark mode will turn on on it's own sometimes and I don't know why... Since I'm not near my mom all the time, I don't know if it's her that's making it go dark mode, or if it's some bug from the software, does someone have any hint as why this may be happening?

Yes, I'm telling you this from a Zenfone 9 user, I hope it's the same on 10.
