Hi all,
After updating to Android 15 earlier this week, I've been noticing that the auto-rotate suggestion is interfering with normal function.
This is the tiny button that appears on the screen's bottom left corner when the phone rotates from portrait to landscape and vice versa. In portrait mode, it covers the keyboard, my back button, and the navigation menus of many apps, and makes those buttons temporarily inaccessible unless you're extremely precise. Before this software update, I never had a problem - the button only appeared with dramatic changes in rotation and would fade quickly. However, it is now appearing if I move the phone more than ~5 to 10 degrees, and staying much longer. This is extremely irritating and is drastically interfering with my ability to use the device properly, especially when using the phone perpendicular to the ground but wanting to remain in portrait mode, something I spend lots of time doing.
Please tell me there's a workaround or a fix incoming.
Thanks in advance!
