Camera crashes on selfie cam in landscape mode (Android 15)

Since the Android 15 update, the camera app on my Zenfone 10 crashes, whenever I take a picture with the selfie cam in landscape mode when the phone is rotated to the right (!).

- deleting cache/data didn't help

- phone does not crash in portrait or when rotated to the left (!)

- the camera app crashes about 1 second after taking the picture while saving the image

- the image file is lost / not saved

- the crash is 100% reproducible on my phone

- with Android 14 it worked properly

- other camera apps work properly (e.g. Gcam)

I do recommend clearing the cache of the app, you can do this by longpressing the app icon > app info > Storage and cache > Clear cache and Clear storage

I've tried that, but to my surprise it didn't help. It's actually part of my standard problem solving routine. Unfortunately, the described behaviour still occurs.

Does this happen only when the phone is rotated to the right?
