I have "Google at glance" widget in middle of main screen. And you CAN'T swipe up to access app drawer or swipe down to access notification bar when swiping on widget, making half of the screen not functional for these gestures. But you CAN swipe to side (left/right) to access side screens on widget. Once widget is removed, swiping works anywhere on main screen.
My old phone had no such problem, you could access app drawer and notification bar even when swiping on widget.
Is this some setting or "feature" (bug) of ASUS UI? I want to have widget and be able to access notification bar without targeting specific areas of screen where widget is not present. And seeing as SIDE swiping works on widget, I don't see a technical reason for it not to work UP/DOWN.
