This is still missing the feature of remaining on the lock screen until you make a gesture (such as swipe).
Current: Biometrics unlock phone and take you immediately to home screen
Requested: Biometrics unlock phone but you remain on lock screen until a further swipe gesture
Reason: If biometric unlock is enabled (such as face unlock) you immediately go to home screen and can no longer see notifications at a glance without interacting with your phone -swiping down notification header etc. Instead, you should be able to check/read notifications from your lock screen including sensitive content (as your phone is unlocked). A further swipe to go to home screen can be added as an option instead of immediately removing the lock screen.
