After a month of usage here's what I think of what the Zenfone 10 is missing in order of personal importance:
- 2 year security update; only if it had today's standard of 7 years
- Snapdragon Gen 2; it needs Gen 3 for future proofing
- No magsafe; why not just have it if your already going to add wireless charging
- Notification light; there maybe no room on the top bezel to add a physical notification light so why not add it as a software feature next to the clock or battery indicator
- Low light camera quality; picture quality can be better when there's no natural light but it's still good
- Bezel; a few millimeters less of bezel especially on the top and bottom, I'm nitpicking at this point
- Front Camera notch; maybe have the front camera behind the screen ONLY if it doesn't affect the camera quality
Most of these points can only be improved if there would be a compact next gen Zenfone, so I can only dream. I really wonder what the sales number look between the 10 and 11 ultra. I hope it's reflects as a mistake and being back a compact phone for my sake. Besides these pain points the phone is amazing!
