Detailed description：Hello everyone,
Long story short-I have the above with a unrepairable motherboard and would like to replace the board,
unfortunately i can not source an exact part number match.
My damaged board is a UX550GD 60NB0I70-MB1300 with an i9 processor.
But i am able to find a UX550GD 60NB0I70-MB1400 with an i7 processor.
The graphics card is the same, same size ram.
Anyone have an opinion on wether or not the i7 board would get my machine running again ?
Any advice or recommendations on where to locate my original board (i9) would be warmly received.

From our standpoint, we may only be able to recommend that you use the original motherboard instead of replacing it with another non-shipment motherboard. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

I would definately swap like for like if i could source one, but as i mentioned, i am unable to locate an i9 board.
Any thoughts on how to locate the board i require ?

Purchased an identical machine - UX580G in i7 form for £450. Motherboard was going to cost approx £400 so i'm a happy bunny.
