TraderGarydid you listen to my recording of the left speaker? can you record your left speaker with the same notification?https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/175749#Comment_175749
My UX582 i9 is, so far, working quite well. I've now stressed it with DaVinci Resolve Studio 4K video processing and there is no sign of temperature throttling or not working at full performance. The fans can get a bit loud when rendering 4K video files, but this is to be expected. My speakers sound excellent with no buzzing. In fact, the speaker sound has exceeded my expectation. I've not yet had my UX582 i9 for a full day. If I experience any problems, I will relate them on this thread.

gszkopYes, I listened to your recording. I don't hear a speaker buzzing on your recording. I hear a bell sound with reverberation following the initial sound. It sounds normal to me.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/175761#Comment_175761

TraderGaryI don't know, maybe it's not a buzz but reverberation. All I know is that the UX581 didn't have it and the sound was clear? can you record the same notification on your UX582?https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/175777#Comment_175777

I'm a trained classical pianist. I majored in performance in college. I listened to some of my favorite pianists and pieces. They sound good. Not as good as my audiophile stereo system, of course, but for a notebook computer I would call it excellent sound. Take my word for my judgement of sound.

gszkopI also had the UX581, and I had it since it was released. The sound on my UX581 was quite noticeably inferior to my UX582. I was hoping the sound on my UX582 would be better and I wasn't disappointed. The difference in sound quality between the two is not subtle.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/175790#Comment_175790

TraderGaryif you don't hear the buzzing in my recording it will be hard to understand. For me, the sound is terrible, much worse than in the UX581, but if this sound is normal for you, I don't see any understanding.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/175805#Comment_175805

To compare our notification bell sound, we would have to be using the same recording equipment in the same space at the same recording distance and the same volume.
I play my 7' 5" concert grand piano in a large living room with ceramic tile flooring and a 2.5 story ceiling. The sound is magnificent. I know sound quality. Trust me when I say there is no buzzing in my UX582 speakers.
