System: Windows 10 Battery or AC: AC Description: Fans start on high for no reason Model: UX392F Frequency of Occurrence: Sometimes Reset OS: No
I've had the machine for about 3 weeks. This week when waking from sleep the fans run at what I would guess is max speed, even tho the laptop is quire cool. I have to do a cold reboot to get the fans back down to regular speed. Fan Mode is set to 'auto' in MyAsus. Thoughts?
Hello DougO,
Please help to double check if your BIOS and drivers are up to date
https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-ZenBook-S13-UX392FN/HelpDesk_Download/
You may also change the mode in My ASUS,
as the system might expect larger work load when waking from sleep mode than actual
in AUTO mode.
Thank you for messaging us.
Have a nice day.
