How do I know if my laptop is capable of using USB C port for external monitor?

I went to the Asus page for my machine.
At the very top is the "Tech Specs" link.
If you go the I/O info it will be marked if the USB C port is video capable.
Took a lot of digging to finally figure it out.
Very bummed BTW that mine dies not support.
