Apple to ZenBook issue

So I got a zenbook after getting my other ASUS about  decade ago. I am trying to upload my pictures from my Apple Iphone and for some reason it will start downloading and then stop. There are a bunch of red x's on files and pictures and I am not sure why. I am sure this is an easy fix, but my lack of knowledge of computers makes this difficult. Any help would be appreciated!

This may be a file transfer issue. It is recommended that you avoid selecting too many files (approximately 2-3GB at a time) when copying or moving files to prevent potential problems. Thank you.
