usb port not working
Install the latest chipset driver for your laptop model .
at first, format the usb pendrive using diskpart command if the device is detected only.
or insert pendrive into usb port, then go to bios, enable CSM mode, disable secure boot, save and exit.
go to bios, did you able to see the usb device in boot menu ..
if not meens enable all usb controller and legacy usb in bios.
boot the windows into safe mode recheck the usb Ports by inserting pendrive and verify usb device is detected or not.
