Keyboard backlight randomly turns off

Model: Vivobook F512DA
Frequency of occurrence: Random
Reset OS: yes

Detailed description：
My keyboard back-light would just randomly turn off. Meaning when I press any key the light does not come on. I have to press the function key again to get it to come on. This would happen occasionally. I tried to re-install the driver for ASUS System Control Interface. I did the procedure to do EC reset by holding power for 40 seconds. I checked Windows updates and have latest version of MyASUS app installed.

I have the exact same issue. Hopefully Asus can address it in future "ASUS System Control Interface".
