Charging light indicator blinking white and display is off

My laptop display suddenly started blinking abnormally. I tried to switch off.and now the charging indicator light is blinking white , the laptop is running and getting warmer but there is nothing in the display. The display is blank or off.

What is the solution?

It is likely that the issue is with the display or graphics card. 
We suggest trying an external monitor test to determine if the problem is with the display or graphics card.
