There is an audio lag of few milliseconds when I turn on screen recording while playing. Any way to fix it?

Just forget about internal audio stuff. Set recording audio source to "Mic" . Use 3rd party screen recorder as well as inbuilt screen recorder to record pubg or any other games. See the difference, 3rd party app = " No real time audio delay " . Inbuilt recording app = Same real time audio delay. Why still difference ? ( Not using internal audio stuff) .

Some games like clash of clans supporting internal audio recording using 3rd party app( sounds not important though in that game ). YouTube also working with internal audio. @Gustav_ASUS @Anders_ASUS

This feature is required for us to record video of games and upload on YouTube or any social media. This is too much annoying only some hadcore gamers can feel that. Please try to understand and do something if possible. I know developers are working hard but if possible do something.

This is tied to how the built-in screen recorder behaves when using earphones (3,5 mm and USB-C tested with my device) while set to record microphone. You will notice a clear difference in sound quality between the two recordings though, so there's a trade-off to consider. If you record without any peripherals plugged in, both apps will behave the same and without a delay.

Edit: To clarify, the built-in screen recorder still records internal audio when set to 'microphone'. This is what causes the delay, but also better sound quality in the recorded video.

ok, there is a couple of ms delay during screen recording but this is a system limitation according to our devs. 3rd party screen recorders that are not showing this delay while recording are not recording the system audio (since this requires special integration).

So, the bottomline is that even though it might be slightly annoying for some of you hardcore gamers out there, this is something you will have to live with if you need screen record while playing. I made a comparison with one of our biggest competitors and that device has more audio lag in PUBG without screen recording than we do with screen recording active so I don't see this limitation as a major issue.

They call it the "ultimate gaming phone" which has problems recording gameplay. Even a $200 phone can do better than this "gaming phone".

I don't want the screen recorder to record my voice. All i want is to record internal audio without any delay in real time. Don't blame the hardware and day that we have to live with it. This issue is new. This was not there before the update which you guys did. This is ENTIRELY A SOFTWARE ISSUE!! Why do you even launch a phone with the tag ultimate gaming weapong ..... When I can't even screen record without delay. My OnePlus7 doesn't have any delay. Even the rog2 didn't have delay before the updates. Asus really really needs to hire some professional developers. Asus lacks in software. @Gustav_ASUS @Anders_ASUS @LP_ASUS
