ROG Delta (USB C headphone) not working with ROG Phone 2

Well, this is something different. Asus makes these RGB headset and have been portraying them as compatible since the ROG Phone 1. It states clearly that ROG Delta is compatible with USB-C enabled devices. Well ture, they were compatible, but since the last FOTA update of my phone, the usb c headphones don't work with my ROG phone 2 anymore. Not from any of the usb ports (bottom/side).

That is a strange bug for sure. Do you know what firmware version your headphones are using? I'm seeing version 0038 and version 0039_beta listed on the support site.

My normal oneplus usb headphones also dont seem to be recognised...

I just updated the firmware of Rog Delta through the Armoury II app. So, I know its having the latest firmware. I think it is a phone usb c issue. My friend's razer hammerhead usb-c earphones also not being detected.
