Gustav_ASUS@Gustav_ASUS it's again stuck at 2.96Ghz, and the same FpsCentralContr is at the top of the running processes, now i'm not sure what's causing this.Hi guys,
https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/36275/high-temperature-cpu-usage-battery-drain-on-2009-47/p2
As has been reported in the thread linked above, the CPU seems to be spiking because of a bug with the latest version of Google Play Store. It's affecting several models, ROG included. We're following up on this and I'll get back to you as soon as I know more.
Thanks,

FiREPLAYThanks for letting me know. You could help us out with a device log, I'm sending you instructions via PM.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/117169#Comment_117169
@Gustav_ASUS It's not just that, there's some issue with the updated Armoury crate too, if you set a game's screen refresh rate to Auto you also end up with high cpu usage from FpsCentralContr and it always stays at the top making the prime core run at max frequency.
I've cleared AC data and rebooted but now it crashes every single time i try to launch it, but the Prime core is now stable and works as intended.
I'll have to reset my device yet again it seems.
