so to downgrade from current buggy android 10, you must backup your data because if you downgrade all your data will be lost, so be aware of this.
now that you have backed up your data, you must go to this link
For Global users (WW):
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZS660KL/UL-ASUS_I001_1-ASUS-18.0631.2001.64-1.1.92-user.z...
For China/Tencent ROM users (CN):
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZS660KL/UL-ASUS_I001_1-CN-18.0631.1910.63-1.1.252-user.zi...
After downloading the zip, you must move your zipfile to the root of your storage device which means it should not be inside any folder. After that just restart your device and after restart it will detect update. click on the notification and it will start this update, after update click reboot and let it finish the update, it will take sometime to boot up on logo since you just downloaded new firmware. After this you device will be on android 9 and you will need to setup your device again.
Hopefully this helped!

amansh1004Do not unzip the file, place it in the root of your phone which means the zip file should not be in any kind of folder.@Akash Gupta where to put android 9 file exactly in file manager after downloading and i have to unzip it and then place it in root or as it is?

So m thinking of first trying out as such so that if same problem persist even now then i will take my device to service center otherwise m going to downgrade it to android 9
I don't know why everytime asus updates are full of bugs
Earlier I was having asus laser phone tht time also updates were bad.
Asus phone with factory version is best otherwise it become full. Of bugs with every updates..nobody wants phones updates with new features+bugs
We just want stable updates but everytime bug is directly proportional to asus😂
My friends and juniors are laughing on me because of these issues..atleast asus should provide stable updates to high range phones

Akash GuptaNice, you should rename the discussion topic from downgrade to upgrade 😁https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/118536#Comment_118536
Worked for 14 hours of youtube with still having 14% battery left and 2 hour of talking while having my screen off and i have 26 hour of screen off time after downgrading to android 9. In android 10 my phone barely lasted with 10 hour of youtube.

Akash GuptaBattery performance in A9 was excellent , it used to last for day n half and now just for hours .https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/117683#Comment_117683
So far better than A10, no issues yet except that i have habit of A10 features so A9 is missing features like auto download apps from account, security patches and power buttob customization. Except all those A9 is working great and battery back to normal 4%/h which is better than 3%/10 min
