Got mine last night. So far, everything seem to be exactly the same as the 427 version. The main reason why I updated immediately is the Security Update patch for November.

Is your Google Play System Update updated? What month and year? And does RCS chat work? With my ROG 8, I still can't activate RCS for more than a month now.

Thats weird.. because with my ROG 8 pro RCS chat is activated

Maybe your phone's Carrier doesn't support it

Actually my network fully supports RCS messaging, it's only with this ROG 8 that I can't activate. 🤷🏾

Tried every suggestion from Google reps but to no avail. My last option is to factory reset my phone.
