Wi-Fi 5GHz Channel 36-64 Locked/Undetected Issue on ROG Phone 7 in Indonesia

I would like to report a bug regarding the Wi-Fi functionality on the ROG Phone 7 in the Indonesia region. It appears that the 5GHz Wi-Fi channels 36-64 are either locked or not detected, despite these channels being open for use in Indonesia.

Expected Behavior: Users in Indonesia should be able to access and use the Wi-Fi channels 36-64 without any restrictions.

just got a new update couple hours back, looks like the wifi now able to see lower 5ghz channels now, cant wait to go back home for testing. great work Asus team

Which update? I haven't received any update still stuck at 33.241

So finally rog 7 Indonesian version can connect to channel 36-48?

Good news, the official update has unlocked 36-48.

Frankly they shouldn't lock Wifi channel, at least on the client side as it is the transmitting that's illegal. What if the phone are being brought to other country which has different channel allocation? Like in Japan they used to allow only 36-48 and none of the 149 upper band. Hotspot yes they could lock it, but as client it should just be enabled by default.
