Hi All,
I have a ROG Phone 7 on Google Fi with their unlimited plus plan. I recently bought a ROG Ally X to game while traveling. I tried using my hotspot and unfortunately while I can browse the web and watch youtube to go on reddit etc I cannot connect to any gaming servers. Destiny 2, Genshin Impact, neither work. Steam does not even connect to at all. I reached out to Google Support and they eventually said that the ROG Phone 7 is not compatible with using the hotspot. To me that makes 0 sense.
I tried using my wife's iPhone on Verizon and it worked flawlessly with each. Has anyone had a similar issue? I don't understand what is so different than my phone on Android 14 and say a Pixel or Galaxy.

Hey @Mattias_ASUS thank you for the reply here is some info that I saw you asked users to provide that helped.
Here is a link to a log I generated. The log record me connecting my Ally X to my phone and then trying to play Zenless Zone Zero. I also attached some screenshots that show my network settings compared to my fiances iPhone (Verizon). Ignore my Wifi name. I have a ROG Phone 7 just accidentally put 5. Hope this helps.

Just to clarify for the team.
I can successfully share my home wifi network to my Ally X
If I turn off WiFi on my phone and turn on hotspot using mobile data my Ally X will connect.
I can successfully watch Youtube videos and other media and browse the web.
I cannot login to any game services be it Hoyoverse games or Steam.
I can successfully play both on my fiances hotspot on Verizon through her iPhone.
