I've seen a few people asking for help about this only to be ignored by the customer support.
My bottom port has stopped working with the 65w charging when the cable is there and when i plug in the cable on the side port it starts to charge a little but i keep getting the disconnecting sound with the 65w charging/cable.
When I use my regular samsung/sony chargers both ports work for charging.
The 65w charger and both its cables work fine on other phones in case customer support here decided to throw in the captain obvious response to try and dismiss the problem.
There's nothing wrong with the charger, There wasnothing wrong with the phone until the recent update.
I've formated it twice btw so spare me that nonsense as well.
I've even restarted the phone with the cable and the 65w plugged in to see if it would detect it upon restart.
Fix the issue before some of us have our warranties gone on the phone and remain in a mess created on your end.

Hello @Chubbsterish
I apologize for the problems you are experiencing, I can't seem to be able to recreate this issue, could you help by providing a log and recreating the issue?
That way I can send it to the R&D team and they can look into it further.
I'll write the steps down below, while creating the charging log please make sure to keep the charger connected for at least 20 minutes to give an accurate reading.
When you are done, feel free to send me a PM with the link and I'll forward it right away.
*******
Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).
1. Open “Calculator APP”
2. Enter “.19595+=”
3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.
4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.
5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".
6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.
Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

Hi Mattias,
I've already done this with my before my last reset and sent it to Asus customer support here in sweden. I'm awaiting a reply from them.
As we speak about the devil and how ridiculous bugs continue happen with the phone.
Upward swiping stopped working all of a sudden and i couldnt access my apps wherever I pressed on the screen.
This is my 6th factory reset now btw!
1. the charging for 65w is STILL NOT WORKING.
2. The screen finally started to work again but it took a whole factory reset.
With all due respect paying almost 1300 euros for a phone should not have this **bleep**ty unstable software.
Clearly many of the things im mentioning here, others are facing with no actual progress and help.
Even your own customer support said I shouldn't send my phone to chezchoslovakia for something that obviously seems to be a problem on Asus end.
This means your own customer support has acknowledged that with everything I've provided the problem doesn't lie neither with my charger, my cables, my phone (since the ports are working).
Fast hypercharging worked until the last update then it just died right after that.
I decided to leave Samsung and Sony to give this Asus Rog Phone a try a phone that costs almost just as much but seems to be more unstable than a crap knockoff phone I can get from temu or wish.com.
Even if my problem gets fixed this will be my last time using Asus products.
I had already transitioned from Asus computer parts to Aorus.
I gave this phone as one last hope to remain loyal to Asus after almost 15 years of purchasing products but honestly this phone has turned out to be a joke.
A bigger joke than trying to sell it as a gaming phone when both the Samsung S24 ultra or Sony Xperia I VI can handle the same lousy games and on top of that offer 5+ years as updates and support while Asus only offers two yet charge the same if not more for almost the same specs on phones except both the Samsung and Xperia have way better cameras.
(yes I can go on and roast this phone even more for its lackluster experience but I will stop here.)

Come on Mattias, you can't just delete a whole post to your reply with valid criticism for the sake of others not seeing what I wrote. It only proves the vulnerability of the brand.

The fact that you just deleted a whole post with valid information and criticism about the phone that was in full detail about how poor Asus support is and on top of that how your own customer support clarified and validated that the problem wasn't on my end just make this whole conversation and post really sad. Moderator or not, Asus must be able to the handle the harsh reality of hte criticism when providing a lackluster flagship phone with multiple bugs and issues.
This will be my last reply to this because obviously moderators doesn't want transparency on these forums for the sake of protecting the brand instead of solving the problems. I'm done with these forums and this ridiculous lackluster phone.

Also asking me to put a 65w charger in my second port that connects and disconnects for 20+ is not ideal and not something I'm willing to do again.
I've already done this to please customer support over the phone and I'm not interested in potentially damaging my battery for something that's obviously not a problem on my end and a reaccuring problem with multiple users here.
It's obviously a firmware problem and no matter how many times I've started my phone with the charger still in it the problem isn't going away at all.
At this rate your devs need to figure out the problem because I will gladly send the phone chezchoslovakia for them to send it back with and as soon as the phone autoupdates were back having this conversation and I can utilize my warranty to ask for my money back.
This phone has been nothing but a bug experience and Asus isn't listening to the customers, providing a lackluster phone.
