If you are taking these photos under direct sunlight with a white screen (or some other extreme conditions), it's normal behavior for these under-display fingerprint sensors.
Go look up "fingerprint sensor visible under sunlight".
There's even a thread in the ROG 5 forum:

Definitely looks like he's under direct sunlight and he is clearly using a white back ground. Of course you'll see the sensor, what do you expect? What are you going to whine about next? That the phone exists in physical form and you have to hold it?

I don't see any problem here
