So a couple weeks ago, my Rog6 battery percentage has been jumping everytime I restart my phone, not to mention that when I charge it also jump. Could it be my battery is already bad? It's not even a year old yet. A couple weeks ago I wasn't able to charge my phone for a couple hours and that happened for two days. So in that two day I wasn't able to charge for a couple. Could it be that's the culprit?

I haven't, I'll try it. I'll bring it to repair center like next month or so, so until then, I'll try to figure it out

Hello @Stutzy ,
The battery percentage jumping on your Rog6 could indicate potential battery health issues, software glitches, or calibration problems. Below are stepwise suggestions to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Restart and Observe:
Restart your phone and note the battery percentage before and after. If the jump is consistent, it may be a calibration or software issue.
Check Battery Health:
Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health or use third-party apps to check the battery's condition. If the capacity is below 80%, it may need replacement.
Calibrate the Battery:
Inspect Charging Habits:
Avoid letting the battery drain completely too often, as it stresses the cells. Charging within 20–80% is ideal for battery longevity.
Use Original Charger and Cable:
Ensure you’re using the original or certified charger and cable, as improper charging accessories can damage the battery.
Check for Software Updates:
Factory Reset (If Needed):
If software seems to be causing the issue, back up your data and perform a factory reset:
Settings > System > Reset Options > Erase All Data.
Visit a Service Center:
If issues persist, the battery might have physical damage or a manufacturing defect. Contact the official service center for diagnosis and potential replacement.
By following these steps, you should identify and resolve the issue or determine if professional help is needed. For tools and APK resources, check out platforms like Rally Fury.
