Asus RoG5 - **bleep**ty support and crappy hardware

A few days ago my Wifi connectivity on Asus Rog5 stopped working and yesterday the phone just died and refuses to turn on. The support team in India sucks. I've been a fan and customer of multiple Asus devices (2 high end laptops and 1 phone), looks like i need to never ever endorse this brand. 

Support-team: I would really appreciate if you can help in getting the phone revived back as it is my primary device for work.

Hi There,

I am awaiting the diagnostics report from your authorised service centre, at the surface, it seems like a motherboard short-circuit; don't know why it happened. My worry is all on data, i use this particular phone extensively for work and do not want data loss. Is it possible to retain data? Let me know.
