Front camera button is missing in camera application

A few weeks ago, my ROG Phone 6 started having issues with the camera, the front camera button is missing and the pictures taken from the main camera became blurry and can't focus.. I've tried to restart the phone several times but nothing seems to happen. Weird thing is the front camera works in apps like Instagram so I know it is working and it isnt a hardware issue. 

Could someone please assist me in this?

Hello, I know is not the same issue; but O have a feeling is that stupid android build ending in .159 

I also having issues right after that crap installed automatically to my ROG 6. Before that everything was fine, now I have to use my ROG 5 in the meantime I wait for an update. I know is just one person but I think I'll be switching to Sony Xperia if this crap is not fix soon. $1400 is a lot of money for a crappy thing.

LOL.  I'm on an Asus after suffering with an Xperia 1 III.  Sony never bothered finishing the OS. Its primary advertised features like gaming, 4K display, 5G, global roaming, telephoto camera, video recording, 12GB RAM, and C-band never worked correctly.  Instead of fixing them, they were left broken or just deleted in A13.   As of today there's no GPS reception, almost no cellular reception, no 5G, it can only use 4GB, and the fingerprint reader is dead.  On a $$$$ phone.

My ROG Phone 7 is heaven.

Same issue, tried everything even a factory reset. Asus suggested to send it out to the service center. Sent it in and they said the issue is with the motherboard and needs to be replaced. Waited for almost a month for repair. Very disappointing experience.

Did it solve the problem? if so, how long has it been? Coz in some cases it happen again after sometimes..
